The Nanhai Guanyin Temple is located in the Honghai Bay Zhelang tourist area, 0.1 meters north of Provincial Highway 241 in Shanwei City, Guangdong Province. It was built in 990 AD (i.e., the fifth year of Chunhua in the reign of Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty) and has a history of one thousand years. The Guanyin Temple is a palace-style temple with an imperial path and dragon carvings.
The opening hours are from 9:00 to 18:30 all year round.
