Zhalan Jiao in Jiulongwan is a slender peninsula that extends southward at the junction of Shanwei Honghai Bay and Jieshi Bay, known as the ‘Kirin Horn of Eastern Guangdong’. The Zhalan Peninsula juts out like a barrier across the blue waves of the sea, with the sea waves and breezes influenced by the terrain, forming distinctly different scenes on both sides of the peninsula. The East Sea area is always surging with waves and pounding shores, while the West Sea area remains calm and undisturbed throughout the seasons.

The contrast between the two is quite interesting, and the term ‘Zhalan’ or ‘Wave Shelter’ originates from this phenomenon. The beaches on both sides of the peninsula stretch for tens of kilometers, with clear water and white sand, making it an ideal place for tourists to enjoy the azure sea and sky, and indulge in sea bathing. The development prospects of the peninsula development zone are very broad, with its excellent deep-water coastline providing berthing docks for tens of thousands of tons, and the harbor has good shelter from winds, less affected by tides, allowing tens of thousands of tons of giant ships to enter and exit the port all year round, earning the reputation of ‘Hundreds of Miles of Bays, All Good Harbors’.

Open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific business status subject to the day’s opening conditions.
