Hongwei Town: A Unique Red Tourism Destination in Jiangxi

Hongwei Town scenic area is located in Caolin Town, Suichuan County, Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province, and is jointly developed by Jiangxi Tourism Group and Suichuan County Government. It is one of the first pilot towns for characteristic town creation in Ji’an City. The project is planned to cover an area of approximately 1400 acres, with a spatial layout designed according to the concept of ‘one heart, one axis, and five districts’.

The ‘one heart’ refers to the Wei Cultural Theme Street; the ‘one axis’ is the Wei Cultural and Tea Culture Experience Landscape Axis; and the ‘five districts’ include the Comprehensive Service Area, Original Settlement Area, Tea Cultivation and Study Area (including the Youth Military School), and Tea Culture Theme Park. The goal is to create a characteristic town that focuses on red tourism with study tours, red training, and leisure vacations, supported by local characteristic industries.

Opening hours are from 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:30 all year round.
