Introduction: Hongyan Fairyland is located within Hongyan Town. The scenic area is divided into two parts: karst caves and stone forests. What is worth seeing is the underground karst cave that is more than 300 million years old. Although Hongyan Fairyland is not as famous as well-known scenic spots like Seven Star Caves in Guilin, its scenery is remarkable. The karst cave is of a considerable scale. There is also an underground waterfall inside. It is very cool in summer, killing two birds with one stone for summer escape and enjoying the scenery. Hongyan bus station is located near the scenic area exit. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from here to the entrance. Taking a motorcycle taxi costs about 15 yuan. The road up the mountain is a good asphalt road. After passing the ticket office and walking in for a while, you will reach the cave entrance. For touring inside the cave, just follow the walkways and signs. After passing the ‘Boundary between Immortals and Mortals’, you will clearly feel that you have entered a cool world. The sound of the waterfall can be clearly heard at the cave entrance. The relatively vivid stone landscapes inside the cave are named Immortal Fields, Girl Biluo, Golden Rooster Heralds Dawn, and so on. You can use your imagination by referring to the exhibition boards nearby. There are many small streams on the cave walls. The large stream is the Nine Heavens Waterfall, which is an unforgettable landscape inside the cave. The temperature here is relatively low and there is a lot of moisture. There is a somewhat slippery step next to the waterfall. Extra caution is needed when walking. Since the karst cave is deeply buried underground, it is several stories high from the cave entrance down to the inside. Later, when coming out of the cave, you are on the top of a mountain that is also several stories high. Standing on the Songmo Pavilion at the commanding height and looking around, there are green plants and scattered villages, full of vitality. On the way down the mountain, you can just tour the stone forest. The trees in the stone forest are not large, but there are a large number of them. There are also vines entwined, which is very characteristic. However, the scenery here is much inferior compared to the karst cave. If time is not sufficient, a simple browse is fine. After walking through a section of bamboo forest, you can reach the scenic area exit.
