Red Garden is located in the Minhang District of Shanghai. It is bordered by Jiangchuan Road to the south, Hongyuan Road to the east, Rui Li Xin Village to the west, and Binchuan Road to the north. The garden covers an area of 40,800 square meters. Originally, it was a private green space for the Shanghai Steam Turbine Factory, and after renovation, it was named ‘Small Park’. It was officially opened on July 23, 1960, and later renamed ‘Red Garden’ in 1962. The garden is open from May 1st to October 31st, from 05:00 to 21:00.
