Houcheng Tourism and Culture Street is located on Houcheng Street, between Tumen Street and Jiuyi Road in Licheng District. It connects Qiaoxiang Small Commodity Street in the east and Baiyuan Road in the west.
Houcheng Tourism and Culture Street integrates cultural landscapes, tourism services, and professional markets. It is a professional market for arts and crafts tourism commodities, mainly featuring folk traditional products. There are wood carvings, gold wood carvings, Buddha statues, stone carvings, fine shadow carvings, embroidery, jadeware, ceramics, bronzes, tinware, purple sand crafts, bamboo weaving, rattan weaving, bodiless lacquerware, resin crafts, artistic clothing, religious embroidery, clock and watch crafts, the four treasures of the study, art books and periodicals, audio and video equipment, electronic products, art galleries, tea art and tea ceremony, lantern products, sports and cultural equipment, decoration and advertising, art photography, etc.


The main buildings of Houcheng Tourism and Culture Street were designed by Professor Lv Junhua of Tsinghua University, one of the top ten architects in China. The entire building complex is arranged on both sides of the Eight Diagrams Ditch, with green belts in the middle. There are shady willows, small bridges over flowing water, and architectural ornaments dotted along the walkway, presenting a pleasant scenery.
