Hu Yu Park, nestled in Cixi City, derives its name from the ‘Hu Shan Zhi’ records of the Qing Dynasty during Emperor Daoguang’s reign. It is said that Hu Yu Mountain, also known as Tiger Mountain due to its resemblance to a reclining tiger, is situated to the south of Hu Shan. The park’s name originates from ‘Zhong Jun Mountain,’ which refers to the tiger’s hindquarters.
Spanning approximately 2.23 hectares, Hu Yu Park is a haven of natural beauty and an ecological garden in its truest sense. The park is lush with verdant trees and offers a serene environment that is both beautiful and refreshing.
