Hua Hu Valley National AAAA Scenic Area is located on the border of Hunan and Jiangxi, at the western foot of the Luoxiao Mountains, closely adjacent to the revolutionary cradle of Jinggangshan. It is a key project for implementing ‘whole area tourism’ and rural revitalization strategy in Chaling. Invested and constructed by Hunan Wanzhang Group Co., Ltd., the total investment is 4.5 billion yuan. The scenic area covers a total area of 200 square kilometers, consisting of four major sections: ‘Great Flower Sea’, ‘Great Lakes’, ‘Great Canyon’, and ‘Chinese Wanli Red Hunan-Jiangxi Revolutionary Base Red Cultural Park’.
It is a deep integration demonstration zone integrating precious flower, rare tree industry, high-quality camellia oil, tea, fruit industry, and tourism and sightseeing industry. It has formed a three-day tour destination based on red tourism, agricultural tourism, tea tourism, cultural tourism, and health tourism, integrating leisure vacation, tourism sightseeing, forest health, homestay experience, and red research. The opening hours are all year round from 09:00 to 18:00. Preferential policies: Children under 1.1 meters (excluding 1.1 meters) are free; Elderly people over 65 years old (including 65 years old) with valid identification are free; Tourism practitioners: the tour guide of the group with the tour guide certificate and the tour bus driver with valid driving license are free; Military personnel: active servicemen with military certificates are free; Local preferential group: tourists within the scope of Chaling County, Yan Yao Town, and Tao Keng Shang Yuan and Shang Ping two villages with valid identification enjoy discounts.
