The HuaMao Art Education Museum is a thematic museum located in Ningbo, dedicated to the field of art education. The museum is divided into six levels, including five above ground and one underground. The exhibition is rich in content, covering various aspects of art education, such as oil painting, sculpture, calligraphy, and music. Three special branches are established within the museum to showcase the representative works and art education careers of three masters of Chinese art education. In addition, the museum emphasizes interactive experiences with an interactive experience hall, where visitors can participate in activities such as DIY sculpture, 3D printing, and famous painting copying through multimedia interactive technology, enhancing their artistic appreciation and creative abilities.
Opening hours: The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 all year round; closed all day on Mondays; open from 10:00 to 17:00 on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.
Preferential policies: Children aged 6 (inclusive) or under 1.2 meters (inclusive) in height can enter the museum for free with adult accompaniment (one adult can only accompany one free child); senior citizens aged 75 (inclusive) and above can enter the museum for free with valid identification; people with disabilities can enter the museum for free with disability certificates; military personnel can enter the museum for free with officer, soldier, or retirement certificates. Additional information: Visitors who purchase preferential tickets or enjoy free ticket policies must carry relevant proof documents for use.
