Huang Chao Reservoir is located in the southern part of Liubu Town, Licheng District. It was constructed in 1972. The reservoir’s arch dam stands at 40 meters high, with a storage capacity of 4.6 million cubic meters and a water area covering over 800 acres. The water quality is exceptionally good, remaining clear all year round, and the surrounding natural vegetation is well-preserved. The area boasts both towering peaks reaching up to 880 meters in altitude and vast, gently sloping flat terrains, making it an ideal spot for sightseeing, vacations, and entertainment.
