Located at the birthplace of Huang Feihong, Luzhou Village, at the foot of Mount Xishan, Huang Feihong’s Martial Arts and Lion Dance Museum is situated near Huang Feihong’s former residence, within the Huang Clan Ancestral Hall. It is a comprehensive memorial hall that presents Huang Feihong’s life and martial spirit.
Adopting the architectural style of the late Qing Dynasty to authentically recreate Huang Feihong’s era, the museum is divided into several exhibition areas, including Huang Feihong’s former residence, a film and television room displaying Huang Feihong’s historical traces, Bao Zhi Lin Hall, and Bai Cao Tang. These areas aim to provide visitors with an in-depth understanding of the real Huang Feihong.
The museum hosts daily lion dance and martial arts performances, allowing visitors to closely experience these two unique Lingnan art forms. It is open year-round from 08:00 to 17:00, with martial arts and lion dance performances scheduled at 09:30, 10:30, 14:30, and 15:30 every day, with adjustments made on rainy or thundery days.
A must-see tip: Four daily performances of ‘Huang Feihong Lion Dance’ and ‘True Kung Fu’ are held at 09:30 and 10:30 in the morning, and 14:30 and 15:30 in the afternoon, with adjustments made on rainy or thundery days.
