The Huang’anba Alpine Pasture is nestled in the southeast of Chengkou County, a scenic destination situated 75 kilometers from the county seat. It shares borders with Zhenping County of Shaanxi Province to the east, Weihe Township of Chengkou County to the west, Pingli County of Shaanxi Province to the north, and Dong’an Township of Chengkou County to the south. This expansive resort stretches over 50 kilometers from east to west and spans more than 10 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 306,000 mu. Within this vast expanse, the contiguous grassland and pasture area amounts to 208,000 mu.
Huang’anba Alpine Pasture is situated within the Dabashan National Nature Reserve and is part of the national southern grassland and slope demonstration development zone. The tourist area boasts abundant tourism resources and a well-preserved ecological environment. The mountaintop grasslands, the vast forests on the slopes, and the renowned canyons at the mountain’s base are interconnected by pristine waters, creating a stunning landscape combination.

Large patches of grassland crown the mountaintops, home to herds of cattle and horses. At the mountain’s foot, one can find secluded valleys with clear streams, dense forests, towering bamboos, rare birds, exotic flowers, peculiar rocks, and swimming fish, all contributing to an incredibly beautiful scene.
Landscape features such as Stone Man Peak, Yuanyang Rock, One Finger Holding up the Sky, and Eagle Beak Rock are particularly vivid and lifelike, adding to the allure of Huang’anba Alpine Pasture.In the Huang’anba scenic area, there are rich varieties of precious Chinese herbal medicines and rare animals and plants spreading all over the mountains. ‘Go for an outing and enjoy wild flowers in spring, enjoy a cool summer like paradise, the mountains are full of red maple leaves in autumn, and the winter snow scenery is as beautiful as a painting’.
