The ancient Huangdaxian Temple was first built in the twelfth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1873). At first, it was named Huangxianweng Temple. It was renovated twice in 1984 and 1997. In 2005, it was expanded into Huangdaxian Park. The park covers an area of 130,000 square meters and is famous for its strange stones, lush forests, cool breezes and secluded scenery. It is a cultural relic protection unit in Dongguan City.

Huangdaxian Park adheres to the traditional Chinese architectural style and has Wenchang Pavilion, Daxian Family Temple, etc. It naturally integrates with the surrounding ecological environment and becomes a beautiful tourist attraction in Qishi Town. Among them, Wenchang Pavilion was built on May 12, 2006. The pavilion design style is unique, and traditional culture and classic ink collections are gathered.

Many couplets and plaques carved in rosewood are used in the pavilion. The plaque of ‘Wenchang Pavilion’ is carved in Burmese rosewood and inscribed by Li Duo, a leading calligrapher in Hunan. Opening hours: Open from 9:00 to 19:00 all year round. Must-see tips: Masks must be worn when entering the scenic area. At the same time, please cooperate with the scenic area to complete the body temperature detection and real-name registration when entering the park.
