Huangpu Ancient Port is located in Shi Ji Village, Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, with Xin Gang East Road to the north, separated from Lun Head by Huangpu Chong to the south, adjacent to the East Ring Expressway to the west, and facing Changzhou and Shenjing across the Pearl River to the east. Since the Song Dynasty, Huangpu Ancient Port has played a significant role in overseas trade. During the Southern Song period, it was already known as ‘the gathering place of sea vessels’.

Huangpu Ancient Port is divided into four functional areas: the Memorial Exhibition Area, the Ancient Port Park Area, the Boardwalk Dining Area, and the Village Head Square Area, making it a cultural park-type scenic area that integrates display, dissemination, entertainment, and leisure. It is open all year round and available 24/7, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening status.

A must-see tip is to take bus route 229 to Huangpu Ancient Port, which is a double-decker sightseeing bus. Sitting on the second level allows you to enjoy the scenery along the way, making the journey very pleasant.
