The Huangpu Ancient Village Cultural and Historical Exhibition Hall is located at No. 6 Bu Kang Li, Huangpu Village, Haizhu District, Guangzhou City (Liang’s Ancestral Hall). The exhibition employs images, physical objects, models, and incorporates diverse display methods such as 3D animations, holographic imaging, and electronic sand table maps.
Inside the hall, there are creative and interactive scenes such as ‘Elders of Huangpu Village Narrating History’, ‘Holographic Imaging at the Confluence of East and West’, and ‘Eight Scenic Spots of Huangpu’, allowing visitors to experience the historical environment of the port village as one.
The main exhibition of the hall is divided into five major parts: the origins of the village, the confluence of East and West, the charm of the water town, historical talents recorded in history, and Huangpu’s connection with the world. The entire exhibition route is lined with stone slabs, featuring distinctive architectural backdrops such as blue brick walls and pot-eared houses, highlighting the Lingnan water town culture and showcasing the historical development of Huangpu Village’s culture.
Opening hours are from 9:00 to 17:00 all year round. Important note: As of November 24, 2014, due to dengue fever prevention, the exhibition hall’s opening hours have been changed to 10:00 to 15:00, as learned through a phone inquiry.
