Located within Qifeng Park, the temple was originally known as Huangqi Ancient Temple and was built during the Zhenghe era of the Northern Song Dynasty. Guanyin temples and monasteries can be found throughout the country, but those that were established, rebuilt, and preserved from the Song Dynasty until today are rare, making them precious and deserving of protection. The temple is open all year round from 08:00 to 18:00, with the specific operating status subject to the day’s opening conditions.
