Huangqi Xicui is one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Jieyang. Huangqi Xicui refers to Huangqi Mountain Forest Park. Huangqi Mountain Forest Park is located in the northern suburb of Jieyang urban area. Huangqi Mountain is a symbol of Jieyang, a famous historical and cultural city. In recent years, due to the government’s large investment of manpower, material and financial resources, pavilions and temples have been built, stone roads have been paved, the mountain appearance has been transformed and the environment has been beautified to make it a well-known tourist attraction.


Huangqi Mountain Forest Park is located eight miles northeast of Rongcheng. The main peak is nearly 300 meters high and the total area is 1180 hectares. There are many cultural relics and historic sites on Huangqi Mountain, and the cliff carvings are extremely beautiful. There are nine nunneries and eighteen rocks on Huangqi Mountain. There is also a Qishan Tower on the top of the mountain. Qishan Tower was built in the Ming Dynasty.


It is 20 meters high, octagonal in shape and has five floors. Standing by the tower and overlooking the plain, the scenery within a radius of dozens of miles can be seen at a glance. There are also famous historical sites such as Yuerong Tomb, Lvyun Temple and Woyun Cave in the mountain. There are more than 20 natural landscapes such as overlooking the pagoda from afar, visiting springs in stone chambers, spring scenery of ancient pavilions, the bell sound of Lvyun, perching phoenix and lying clouds, evening beauty of Zhugang, morning light of the upper realm, and a hundred birds paying homage to the phoenix.


The scenery of ‘Huangqi Xicui’, one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Jieyang, is moving and makes tourists linger.
