The predecessor of the West Fourth Ring Road – the former Wukesong Road was a north-south ancient road that connected Fengtai in the south, reached the Summer Palace in the north, connected Haidian, and led to the mountains behind. Speaking of the history of this place name, it can be traced back to the Qing Dynasty. At that time, there was the cemetery of Admiral Shao Ying here, and there were five tall ancient pine trees around.

The specific location of the five pine trees back then was at the north entrance of Wukesong Station on Metro Line 1 today. Although the ancient pine trees no longer exist, Wukesong has become a widely known place name. The Wukesong area is now one of the more prosperous areas in western Beijing. The once famous Wukesong Stadium is located here. Various concerts, events, and performances are often held here.

In addition, there are also places like the Wukesong Basketball Hall and the Wukesong Baseball Stadium. They are places loved by sports enthusiasts and also the venues for some competitions. In addition to the venues, outside the stadium in Wukesong, an Ice World Sports Paradise is opened every winter, suitable for coming to experience ice entertainment activities. The Wukesong Park next to the stadium has flowers, plants, and green spaces, and is a leisure place for taking walks and relaxing on weekdays.

Opening hours: Open all year round from 10:00 to 22:00.
