Hufeng Mountain Scenic Area is located in Huxiang Village, Zengjia Town, Shapingba District, Chongqing City, adjacent to Bi Mountain County in the west, and is bordered by the Jinyun Mountain Range with Bi Mountain County. Climbing to the top of Hufeng Mountain allows for a panoramic view of the main city of Bi Mountain and the Chongqing University City area. Since 2011, the Peach Blossom Festival has been held annually in March at the Hufeng Mountain Scenic Area. Known as the ‘Little Jiuzhaigou of Chongqing’, during the early spring, the mountain is adorned with blooming peach and pear blossoms, creating a picturesque scene. It is an ideal place for spring outings, flower appreciation, and leisure activities. After the successful first Peach Blossom Festival, the local government has further promoted urban leisure sightseeing tourism, publicized the distinctive resources of the western part of Shapingba, and highlighted the new bright spot of ecological sightseeing tourism. Hufeng Mountain has been developed into a comprehensive rural leisure sightseeing destination that integrates ‘sightseeing, leisure, entertainment, and fitness’, emphasizing both natural scenery and cultural charm, with well-equipped facilities, making it the first choice for citizens’ spring outings to enjoy flowers.
