Hui Cuiyuan is an independent small courtyard, known for its exceptionally serene environment.

Within Hui Cuiyuan, there is a quiet study called the Qingxin Study House. In front of the study’s library stands a 3.2-meter-tall Taihu stone, resembling the white magnolia – the flower of Shanghai, thus it is named ‘Yulan Peak’.

Surrounding Yulan Peak is a dense greenery, and on the Mei Mountain, lush bamboo groves thrive.

The bamboo area is planted with many high-quality bamboo species, including Phyllostachys, Pheasant Tail Bamboo, Indocalamus, Turtle Shell Bamboo, Hairy Bamboo, Jade Bamboo, Purple Bamboo, and Spotted Bamboo, serving both as an ornamental area for visitors and as a teaching site for bamboo studies in dendrology.

Opening hours: Open from January 1st to December 31st, 05:00 to 19:30.
