Hui Shan Ting is located on the west side of the Baihua Bridge in the new scenic area of Daming Lake. It is entirely white, with a double-eaved, pointed hexagonal roof, and is very elegant. To the northeast of the pavilion, a small hill can be seen faintly protruding from the water’s surface; this is Hui Shan. Hui Shan is one of the three mountains in the old Jinan saying ‘three mountains not seen.’ It is quite small and was originally hidden within a residential courtyard. Hui Shan Ting was constructed based on Hui Shan, providing visitors with a place to enjoy the view. The pavilion is open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening status.
