Huiyang Grand Theater is a comprehensive multi-functional cultural and art venue invested in by Huiyang District Government in June 1999 with an investment of 25 million yuan. It integrates meetings, movies, performances, and exhibitions. It was put into use in December 2000, with a four-story building covering an area of 10,000 square meters and a construction area of 7,672 square meters. The theater has a total of 1,108 seats for the audience, equipped with central air conditioning, advanced multi-functional stage and liftable stage backdrops, advanced stage lighting, Dolby surround sound system, and wide-screen movie equipment. It is currently the largest-scale and most advanced multi-functional grand theater in the Huizhou area.
