Huizhou Olympic Stadium, formerly known as Huizhou Central Stadium, is colloquially referred to as ‘Huizhou Bird’s Nest’ and ‘Enclosed House Stadium’. It served as the main venue for the 2010 Guangdong Provincial Games. The stadium’s design concept is ‘Prosperous Era Stage’, drawing inspiration from the Lingnan Hakka Enclosed House and the Hakka Conical Hat, reflecting the themes of humanity, greenery, and harmony, as well as the local cultural essence of Huizhou, earning it the title of a new ‘Huizhou Enclosed House’. It is open to the public year-round from 08:30 to 21:30; however, the specific business status is subject to the day’s opening conditions.
