Huzhou Art Museum is committed to establishing its principle of ‘rooted in Huzhou, grounded in tradition, highlighting modern and contemporary art, considering near-modern art, and promoting the history of Huzhou’s calligraphy and painting.’ It collects and exhibits art and calligraphy works from various dynasties, along with related cultural relics and information, always adhering to an advanced direction, promoting local art, creating Huzhou characteristics, and providing high-quality cultural services to a wide audience, promoting tradition and publicizing Huzhou.
The opening of the museum is a cultural project benefiting the public and will provide an important platform for the inheritance, exchange, and display of Huzhou’s art.
