Imperial Banner Peak Tea Manor is located in Guanshan Village, Mei Mountain Township, Nan’an City, a traditional Chinese village, a hometown of overseas Chinese from the Southern Fujian region, and a national key cultural relics protection unit. It was founded by patriotic overseas Chinese Li Chunxi in 1928 as Mei Feng Tea Village. The ‘Luoyang Bridge’ and ‘A Branch of Spring’ brand teas are well-known and exported to Southeast Asia.
The late Tang Dynasty scholar Han Ao once sequestered himself in these mountains. After 1949, it became a state-owned enterprise operated by the state, and in 1964, a refined tea processing factory was established. The factory is guided by the Xiamen branch of Fujian Tea Company to grade raw tea according to standards, reviving the production of the renowned Tieguanyin tea ‘A Branch of Spring’. The tea estate is open all year round from 08:00 to 22:00.Imperial Banner Peak Tea Manor: A Historical Tea Estate in Quanzhou
