This exhibition is about our inner nature, that is, realizing that we are one with all life and we all possess the quality of innocence. The inspirations in my works are all from nature and real historical photos. – ANUNARAN J. Gallery 10 Shin Hing Lane, Hong Kong holds a solo exhibition ‘Inner Nature – Return to Innocence’ for Mongolian artist ANUnaran J. The exhibition will be held from November 15, 2024 to January 11, 2025. ANUnaran Jargalsaikhan is an outstanding interdisciplinary artist from Mongolia. She lives and works in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Her creations and performance art are deeply rooted in nature. In this exhibition, she will uniquely use various techniques such as embroidery, sewing, and collage to explore the connections between fabrics, pens, threads, acrylics, oils, and prints. ANUnaran J.’s works revolve around the complex relationship between humans and nature and explore the inner essence. This exhibition will showcase a series of mixed-media works inspired by nature and real historical photos. ANUnaran J. deliberately uses colors such as black, white, blue, and green to evoke a primitive sense of natural authenticity. The audience can immerse themselves in diverse works including silk-screen printing, historical photography, performances, and felt installations. ANUnaran J.’s works have received extensive international acclaim. Her works are inspired by ancient Mongolian concepts and explore the realms of female and male, subconscious and consciousness, and the metaphysical and concrete worlds. Gallery founder Katie de Tilly said: ANUnaran J. is one of the most noteworthy young artists in Mongolia and she is leaving a unique mark on the global stage. Her works reflect her essence. Whether in performance, painting or installation expression, her creations are narrating and conveying the rich history and natural power of her country.
