Ji Mi Ya Port is located in the southeast of Jiao Nan City, Qingdao City, on the west coast of Shandong Peninsula, within Tangdao Bay, Jiaozhou Bay. It is a national first-class mass fishing port and a national second-class open port. The existing wharf is 1403 meters long, with a water area of 2 square kilometers and an average water depth of -7 meters.
In recent years, with the rapid development of the local economy, the status quo of Ji Mi Ya Port can no longer meet the development needs. The port pool has a shallow water level, fewer berths, especially a lack of deep-water berths, and the port infrastructure is in disrepair, which has become a bottleneck restricting the economic development of the port. The expansion of Ji Mi Ya Port is imperative. After expansion, it can accommodate 5000-ton class vessels; it can increase the port’s throughput by 1 million tons, add 30,000 tons of fish unloading volume, bring substantial economic benefits to investors, and also bring significant social benefits to the local government.Ji Mi Ya Port
