JiaGeng Park: A Chinese-Style Garden in Xiamen, Fujian

JiaGeng Park boasts a beautiful environment with a Chinese-style courtyard as its main feature, where pavilions, towers, and buildings are arranged in an orderly fashion.
Inside the park, there is the Chen Jiageng Memorial Hall, built in memory of Mr. Chen. It contains a brief introduction to Chen Jiageng’s life and his outstanding contributions to Xiamen University and the education sector in China.

Located to the north of BieYuan and connected to AoYuan, JiaGeng Park is particularly known for its representative structures, ‘AoPavilion’ and ‘MingShi Pavilion’. The architectural style is a unique blend of Chinese and Western elements.

On the west side of the park, there is a large-scale sculpture group called ‘Fragrance of Peach and Plum’, which is available for visitors to admire.

On the east side of the park, the Honor Monument for Respecting Teachers is a giant candle sculpture, with the names of individuals and organizations that have donated to education engraved on the stone tablet.

The park is open all year round from 08:00 to 22:00, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening status.
