The Jian Wugong Mountain scenic area is located in the northwest of Anfu County. It belongs to the northern section of the Luoxiao Mountains. The planned total area is 226.8 square kilometers. There are 36 scenic spots within the scenic area and 114 natural and cultural landscape features. Wugong Mountain has beautiful scenery and features ‘majestic, dangerous, strange, secluded, and beautiful’ characteristics. The main peak, Jindou Peak, has an altitude of 1918.3 meters. It enjoys honors such as a national scenic area, national natural heritage, national geological park, and national forest park. It is also a ‘Xu Xiake tourist route landmark’. Wugong Mountain has a long history and a long-standing culture. Many celebrities and scholars who admire its name and climb the mountain for sightseeing and composing poems come in an endless stream, leaving countless precious inscriptions. The traveler Xu Xiake left behind an eternal masterpiece when climbing Wugong Mountain from Anfu: ‘Thousands of peaks are like jasper hairpins. The Five Ridges are comparable to Wugong Mountain.
