Jiang Xianggong Temple is also known as ‘Jiang Gong Temple’ and ‘Bamboo Forest Residence’. It was initially built during the Jianyan period of the Southern Song Dynasty. The Jiang clan raised funds to build the Jiang family ancestral temple, where the spiritual tablets of Jiang’s ancestors are enshrined. Jiang Xianggong Temple has been destroyed and repaired many times. It was originally located at the northern end of Qianjin Yang. Now it has been moved to Hezhu Street. From here, one can overlook Beigao Peak and have a close view of Qushui Nunnery and Jiaolu Nunnery.
Open all year round and open all day.
