The Shimen Grand Buddha Temple is located in Shimen Town, Jiangjin District, Chongqing. The building is a seven-eave mountain wooden structure building and is a typical high-rise building in China in the Qing Dynasty. The lotus-footed Guanyin statue faces south and is 13.5 meters high, 5.9 meters wide at the shoulders, and 5.2 meters thick at the chest. The carving of the statue is exquisite, delicate, with smooth lines and strong three-dimensional and aesthetic senses. The Guanyin statue has kind eyebrows and eyes, is dignified and gentle, wears a precious crown, and there is a smiling arhat in the precious crown.
