Jiangjun Mountain Park is one of the sacred sites in Kaizhuang. Originally known as Yunxiao Mountain, it stands at an elevation of 426 meters and is named after General Chen Zheng, the military governor of Lingnan during the Tang Dynasty, who was buried here in the year 677 during the Yifeng era of Emperor Gaozong. The park features several attractions including the main gate, Daguan Tower, Dalong Lake, Mingxiang Pavilion, stele pavilions, Chen Zheng’s Cemetery, and the Shilixiang Food Village. Chen Zheng was the father of Chen Yuan Guang, revered as the ‘King of Kaizhuang Saint.’ The cemetery is the joint burial site of Chen Zheng and his wife, Sikong, flanked by large stone carvings from the Tang Dynasty such as the Wen Zhong, horses, and sheep. Nearby natural attractions include the Sword Grinding Stone and the Sword Testing Stone. The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
