Jiangshan Peninsula is located on the shores of the Beibu Gulf in Fangchenggang City, and it is one of the concentrated areas of coastal attractions in the Beibu Gulf. The coastline is extensive, with a variety of unique beaches and attractions along its length. These include the peculiar stone beach with strange rocks piercing the sky, the white-sand beach with black sand and white waves (Dapingpo), the soft-sand and clear-water Moon Bay, the quiet and gentle Bai Sha Beach, the remnants of the Ho Chi Minh Trail from the anti-American aid to Vietnam period, and the White Dragon Fort known as the ‘turtle and snake guarding the water mouth’.
Most visitors to Jiangshan Peninsula plan to spend about a day exploring the area, usually starting from Moon Bay and moving southwest along the coastline, taking in the various beaches along the way. The white-sand beach in the middle of the coastline is a popular spot among several beaches, where one can swim or rent a sun umbrella to enjoy the seaside leisurely. The sand here is black-brown due to its high titanium content, and the beach is characterized by the constant rolling of white waves, creating a striking black-and-white contrast.
At the southwest end of the coastline lies the peculiar stone beach, known for its rugged red-brown rocks, earning it the nickname ‘Red Cliffs by the Sea’. Many people come here to take photos. The opening hours and business status are subject to the actual situation on the day of visit.
