The Garden Expo Garden covers an area of 3.45 square kilometers, approximately 5,175 acres, and is an emerging cultural and tourism complex in the Yangtze River Delta region, as well as a demonstration base for the cultural and creative transformation of industrial heritage in the eastern China area. The park has been designed by several renowned domestic and international architectural masters based on the unique landscape resources of ‘garden horticulture’, ‘industrial heritage’, and ‘mining pit cliffs’, creating four exquisite gardens: the Cliffside Flower Valley, Time Art Valley, Su Charm Valley, and Cloud Pond Dream Valley.
In addition, the Garden Expo Garden has introduced well-known boutique hotels such as Banyan Tree, Marriott Westin, Autograph, Radisson Collection, and InterContinental Indigo, and has created experiential projects like Coca-Cola. At the same time, the innovative combination of nature and the underwater botanical garden will become a highlight, with various elements creating a one-stop cultural and tourism complex that integrates leisure, retail, dining, cultural exhibitions, and entertainment experiences for visitors.

A characteristic attraction in Nanjing is the special bell tower where visitors can check in. It projects the past, present, and future of Nanjing onto three clock faces. The first bell in China was made by Nanjing native Ji Tanran and is called the Nanjing Bell. The bell tower with three clock faces stands on high-rise buildings in the main exhibition area of the Garden Expo Garden. The time warehouse and the British Big Ben are designed by the same design company, with LED screens built on the walls, and Chen Gang, the composer of the violin concerto ‘Butterfly Lovers’, was invited to compose the music for the on-the-hour chimes.

The main exhibition hall, originally an abandoned factory building of Yinjia and Kunyuan white cement plants, has been designed by Academician Cui Kai of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The current main exhibition hall integrates various functions such as industrial heritage protection, exhibition display, office meetings, and leisure services, becoming an industrial-style political and commercial center. In the future, 10,000 square meters of commercial space will be reserved here, with surprises such as the Coca-Cola Museum, Camera Museum, and Pioneer Bookstore for visitors during their tour.

For those who want to experience a different way of sightseeing, they can choose the Garden Expo Garden’s special train for travel. This new way of travel, with new perspectives, brings more updated and surprising experiences. The special train (ticket purchase required) of the Garden Expo Garden not only travels through the forest and flowers but also through the air and tunnels, making the special train tour experience worth revisiting.

The Garden Expo Garden also brings together a large number of fashionable and cultural check-in places, whether it’s the Coca-Cola brand hall or the Pioneer Bookstore, attracting visitors from all over the place with its strong cultural connotation.

The Coca-Cola Brand Pavilion showcases over a century of the development and innovation history of Coca-Cola. It also sells a variety of Coca-Cola branded merchandise over the years, allowing visitors to experience the charm of this globally popular soft drink.
Pioneer Bookstore, selected by National Geographic as one of the top ten bookstores in Asia, has become a cultural symbol of Nanjing.
