The Jianzhou Jurchen History Exhibition Hall is located at the foot of Wunu Mountain City, a World Cultural Heritage site. Construction began on July 10, 2017, and it was opened to the public on September 30, 2018.
The exhibition hall has a construction area of 3,483 square meters and an exhibition area of 2,800 square meters. It is divided into two major areas: the themed exhibition hall, “The Mighty Wind of Jianzhou – An Exhibition of the History and Folk Customs of the Manchu Ethnic Group in Huanren”, and the affiliated exhibition hall, “The Melodious Rhythm of Porcelain – An Exhibition of Fine Porcelains from the Korean Peninsula Collected by the Cultural Relics Bureau of Huanren”. More than 1,300 cultural relics and folk items are on display in total.
