Jiaochangwei is the only village in Dapeng Peninsula with a coastline, closely adjacent to Dapeng Fortress. Nowadays, over 300 distinctive homestays of various styles have been opened near the beach, making it a unique and fresh spot within the city, highly favored by young people.
Jiaochangwei boasts beautiful scenery and a long, narrow beach. The sand near the sea is coarse and uncomfortable to walk on, while the sand further up is soft and fine. More than 300 seaside inns have been established in Dapeng, Shenzhen, mainly concentrated along the coastline.
