Jiaomen Park is mainly a municipal project built to welcome the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. It is located on the south bank of Jiaomen River in Nansha Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou City. Built along Jiaomen River, it is long and narrow and is a good place for people to sightsee, keep fit and relax. The park makes full use of the existing landscape green belt of Jiaomen River. On the basis of the original roads and greenery, it has been upgraded and transformed. A 4-kilometer bicycle lane and a post station have been built. The greenway connects scenic spots such as Tai Chi Square, hydrophilic promenade, lovers’ road, fishing platform, and sparse forest grassland. The trees, flowers and greenways in the park are matched with each other. The public service facilities are also relatively complete. Two varieties of cherry blossoms have been introduced. Between March and April, this is a good place to enjoy cherry blossoms. Open all day all year round.
