Sanlihe Park is a comprehensive amusement park integrating leisure, entertainment, cultural activities and mass fitness. Sanlihe Park gets its name from the world-famous ‘Sanlihe culture’ of the primitive clan society in the Neolithic Age. Relying on the real relic channel of Sanlihe River, the park excavates and absorbs the essence of Jiaozhou’s 4,500-year history and culture. Combined with modern gardening techniques, a high-level open amusement park is created. The main river in Jiaozhou City, ‘Sanlihe River’, runs through the park base. The base is divided into two parts, north and south. The north bank of the base is mainly a waterfront sightseeing belt with a width of about 29 meters. The south bank of the base has a large hinterland and is the main land for the park. The park is characterized by leisure waterscapes, modern urban settlement squares, natural ecological mounds, boutique parks and environmental sketches. The following concepts are established: giving priority to ecology and paying attention to landscapes; highlighting local characteristics and respecting history and humanities; fully tapping the landscape potential of river water resources and widely applying the modern ecological concept of plant landscaping. Reasonably organize landscape elements such as terrain, water body, roads, architectural sketches and natural vegetation to show the natural landscape pattern of ‘one center, two bridges, three parks, many mounds and eighteen sceneries’. Open all year round and open all day.
