The Jibei King’s Tombs are located 15 kilometers southwest of Changqing County Seat, Shandong Province. They are tombs of feudal lords in the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC – 8 AD), consisting of the Shuangrushan Han Tombs, the Fulushan Han Tombs, and the Dongxin Han Tombs. The Shuangrushan Han Tombs are large-scale tombs of the Han kings. They are located in Shuangrushan Village, Guide Town, Changqing District, Jinan City. This tomb was built in the fourth year of Tianhan in the Western Han Dynasty. The tomb is built against the mountain and carved into a cave. The No. 1 tomb faces north from the south. Both the tomb chamber and the tomb passage are equipped with two terraces. It is shallow outside and deep inside, large outside and small inside, in the shape of the Chinese character ‘Jia’. More than 2,000 funerary objects of various kinds were unearthed from the Han tombs, mainly including bronze wares, jade wares, iron wares, lacquer wares, pottery wares, coins, and domestic animals and poultry. The shape and structure of the No. 2 tomb are basically the same as those of the No. 1 tomb, but the scale is slightly smaller. The Fulushan Han Tombs are located about 1 kilometer northeast of the Shuangrushan Han Tombs. There are two tombs side by side on the top of the mountain from east to west. The Dongxin Han Tombs are located in Dongxin Village, 1 kilometer northwest of the Shuangrushan Han Tombs. The remaining mound is square.
