Jie Kong Zen Temple, a historic and sizable monastery, is located in the northeast of Qiu Town. Originally established in the first year of the Tang Dynasty’s Changxing period (AD 930), the temple boasts a history of over 1080 years.
The main halls within the temple are all wooden structures, which exude a grand presence. The main hall of Jie Kong Temple is distinctive, featuring an annex built on each side, connected to the main hall.
