Jieshan Academy

Jieshan Academy, a gathering place for social activists during the late Ming Dynasty, is located on a hill within the hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy. The hill is not particularly high, and the academy is situated approximately halfway up the hill, surrounded by a tranquil environment. It was here that the great Confucian scholar of the late Ming Dynasty, Liu Zongzhou, lectured and established the Ji Shan School of Thought.


Opening hours are from 9:30 to 15:00 all year round.
