Jimo Ancient City, also known as Zhumao City and Kangwang City, was constructed during the Spring and Autumn Period and was abandoned in the sixteenth year of the Kaihuang era of the Sui Dynasty. The existing ruins of Jimo Ancient City are the former city of the King of Jiaodong during the Western Han Dynasty. There are remains of city walls on the ground, which are divided into an inner city and an outer city.
