Jimo Old Wine Museum, established in 2009 by Shandong Jimo Yellow Rice Wine Co., Ltd., is a specialized yellow rice wine museum located in Northern China. It covers an area of 50,000 square meters. The museum’s main structure consists of two floors, each measuring 50 meters in length and 20 meters in width, with a construction area of over 2,000 square meters. Additionally, it features cultural corridors, wine storage facilities, traditional wine workshops, and tasting rooms, totaling approximately 5,000 square meters in construction area.
The museum showcases the history and culture of Jimo Old Wine, which spans over four thousand years, through a vast collection of historical artifacts, brewing utensils, sculptures, images, and famous calligraphic works. It offers a comprehensive view of the development history, splendid culture, traditional craftsmanship, and unique wine flavor of Jimo Old Wine. Visitors can witness the entire ancient brewing process of Jimo Old Wine, experiencing it with their eyes, ears, nose, and taste. They can see how the yellow millet transforms into the red-orange, fragrant Jimo Old Wine, and have the opportunity to taste the freshly made original Jimo Old Wine.
The museum is open all year round from 08:00 to 11:30 and 13:30 to 16:30. Parking facilities are available at the Jimo Old Wine Museum scenic area parking lot, which is free of charge.
