Liyin Cave Scenic Area is located in Nanping Town, Nanchuan District, Chongqing City, with a total length of about 4.5 kilometers and an average annual temperature of 18-23 degrees Celsius. Apart from the common stalactites and pleasant climate found in other caves across the country and Southwest China, Liyin Cave stands out for its grand scale, ranging from 30 to 80 meters wide and 80 to 100 meters high, featuring a three-level Three Gorges topography with dry land and underground rivers.
It has created multiple unique scenic spots: firstly, it is a viewing cave where electric carts can be driven; secondly, it has a concert hall capable of accommodating thousands for performances; thirdly, it is a filming location for Chongqing Film Group’s cave-based productions; and fourthly, it served as a shooting location for the movies ‘Rogue Actor’ and ‘Love in Turbulent Times’. Liyin Cave is planned as an immersive cave scenic area for tourists, encompassing sightseeing, leisure and entertainment, water entertainment, adventure and treasure hunting, cave climbing, U-shaped rock climbing, waterfall climbing, escape rooms, treasure hunting, boat rides for scientific observation, micro-film shooting, cave wine storage, Buddhist culture experience, and cave performances. The entire area is open from January 1st to December 31st, from 09:00 to 18:00.Preferential policies include: Children: Free for those aged 6 (inclusive) or under or with a height of 1.2 meters (inclusive) or below; discounted for those aged between 6 and 18 (inclusive).
