Jinan Forest Park is located on Zhangzhuang Road in Huaiyin District, and it is a comprehensive city park in the western part of Jinan City that integrates various landscapes such as woodlands, wetlands, streams, and sculptures, and encompasses diverse functions like leisure, science popularization, fitness, and emergency shelter. The overall layout of the forest park is characterized by ‘one loop, one axis, five lakes, and nine gardens’. Starting from the south entrance, visitors can journey through the Terrace Garden, Lan Cui Lake, the Science and Technology Exhibition Hall to the wetland landscape at the north end; ‘five lakes’ refer to the main water features within the park, which include Lan Cui Lake, Yong Cui Lake, Ying Cui Lake, Hua Yu Bay, and Ji Cui Pond; ‘nine gardens’ are specialized garden areas, including the Terrace Garden, Sculpture Garden, Spring Garden, Summer Woodland Garden, Autumn Scenery Garden, Cedar Garden, Bamboo Garden, and Children’s Playground. The park also prepares eight sightseeing vehicles for visitors who do not wish to walk, with tour guides explaining the attractions along the way. The park is open from 05:00 to 22:30 all year round; from 05:30 to 21:30 all year round.
