Jinan Olympic Sports Center is located in the Longdong area of the Eastern Yanshan New District of Jinan City. It was founded on May 28, 2006, and was fully completed in 2009. The gymnasium, situated in the eastern part of the Olympic Sports Center venue, is an integral component of the ‘East Lotus West Willow’ regional characteristic design concept. It covers an area of 3.1 hectares, with one underground floor, five above-ground floors, and partially six floors, with a construction area of 59,000 square meters and 10,000 seats. It also includes the construction of 18 outdoor basketball training courts, hosting the closing ceremony of the 11th National Games, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, and trampoline competitions.
The tennis court is located to the west of the main gymnasium of the Olympic Sports Center, covering an area of 2.1 hectares, with one underground floor, three above-ground floors, and partially four floors, with a construction area of 31,000 square meters and 4,000 seats. It also includes the construction of two outdoor courts, each with 1,000 seats, which can meet the requirements for the National Games and international tennis competitions after completion, hosting the National Games tennis competitions.
The swimming and diving center is located to the west of the main gymnasium of the Olympic Sports Center, covering an area of 2.1 hectares, with one underground floor, three above-ground floors, and partially four floors, with a construction area of 47,000 square meters and 4,000 seats, hosting the swimming and diving competitions of the 11th National Games.
