Jin’e Temple is located at the foot of Jin’e Mountain in the southern suburbs of Ningbo. It is 35 kilometers away from Ningbo City and has a long history of more than 1,200 years. Jin’e Mountain, with ‘thousands of peaks like tablets and thousands of valleys paying homage’, is a famous mountain in the south of Yin County. It has an altitude of 633 meters and is a branch of Tiantai Mountain. Jin’e Temple was built in the Dali period of the Tang Dynasty. The incense has continued for more than a thousand years. Around the temple, there are gurgling streams and towering ancient trees. The temple currently covers an area of more than 50 mu and has a magnificent and solemn Buddhist temple. It is indeed a rare pure land of Buddhism.
