Jingang Zen Temple, formerly known as Dongyue Temple, was originally constructed at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, with a history of over six hundred and fifty years.
Located in Shafeng Zhong Village, Jinshazhou, Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, Jingang Zen Temple is primarily composed of the Mahavira Hall, Heavenly Kings Hall, Ksitigarbha Hall, Guanyin Hall, Zen Martial Arts Hall, and Nianfo Hall, covering an area of more than thirty acres. The temple’s halls are grand and well-organized, with Buddha statues exquisitely carved from camphor wood. The statues are majestic and solemn, with the Heavenly Kings resembling powerful Vajras, lifelike and vivid. The temple is open all year round from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM.Jingang Zen Temple
