Jingtoushan Site, situated in Qianshansi Town, Yuyao City, Ningbo City, is in close proximity to the Hemudu Site and the Tianluoshan Site. It is classified as part of the Kuahuqiao cultural type, shedding light on the developmental progression from the Kuahuqiao culture to the Hemudu culture.

Discovered in October 2013, the site is a shell mound that primarily consists of marine mollusk shells. These shells are buried at a depth of 5 to 10 meters and cover a total area of approximately 20,000 square meters. Jingtoushan Site is recognized as the earliest and deepest-buried typical coastal shell mound site found along the Chinese coast in the Yangtze River Delta region. Dating back from 8300 to 7800 years ago, it predates the Hemudu culture by 1000 years.
