Jingua Building is a characteristic architecture on Gulangyu Island. It got its name “Jingua Building” because there are two golden gourd-shaped domes on the roof. It belongs to the Byzantine style.
Jingua Building uses bold colors and has a unique shape. Even on Gulangyu Island with numerous buildings, it is still a beautiful architecture and well worth a visit.

The two golden gourds on the roof of Jingua Building shine with a golden light in the sun, showing a simple and ancient charm and being very eye-catching.

The gateway of the building adopts the Chinese hip-and-gable roof style with double eaves and upturned eaves. The beams, columns and lintels are decorated with various reliefs.

Although this is a private residence, you can still enjoy most of its beauty from outside the wall.

Opening hours: Open 24 hours a day throughout the year.
